THE HIJABIFIED VERSION!
Wassup people?!?!?
High waist jeans are the trend in the fashion industry (I heard
so).
Okay, so I was wondering about how fashion, dressing and
stuffs related have changed in our era and now from going all low everything is
turning too high!
How easy it is for a piece of cloth to destine what we are
going to present ourselves as! How crazy it is for those who go behind ALDO or
ZARA, (let me be honest, these are the only two brand names that came into my
little head)? Now those brand-maniacs will have their own reasons to justify
but I never get the point on how easy it is for a human to forget his/her lord’s
command and follow the latest trend so that they are too TAGGED IN THE “MODERN”
CATEGORY. Now the reason I double quote the word modern is simple because in
the generation a person is modern if his dressing style, social (online) life,
his language etc are up-to-date.
Now talking about my sisters who believe they have to end up
tomorrow in front of their lord the below stuff is especially for you. (Anyone’s
welcome to read though!)
How many of us actually are in hijab when required?
How many of us turn around to dress up as celebrities at parties
or other occasions?
How many of the daily hijabis turn out to be diva’s on their
wedding?
I know how crazy we girls are when it comes to dressing. How
we keep shopping for the best outfit, matching heels, matching accessories,
matching what so ever. But again are we listening to our lord who told us woman
that we are the most precious species on this planet. We have been raised to
such a position that heaven comes under our leg but still we forget all this
when it is a farewell party or a wedding reception. We paint our faces with
highlight pink and blue, we stitch a dress on our body, and we fine a giraffe
neck heel and think ourselves to be the prettiest among all! (Am I exaggerating???)
So I too had this problem, you see, trying to fit myself in
this big world.
I realized that it isn't hard to practice my religion at
all. As long as I am a Muslim woman I would not have to worry about pleasing
the people around me. All that matters will be if my LORD is happy with me and
as long as I listen to him I am free of worries!! J
In this world where fashion industry is a means to expose
woman it is necessary we have something we call the hijabified version of
dressing. Something modern as well as modest. Something that make us feel
comfortable. I always believe that dressing is not something that shows out who
we are rather it is our character that reveal to the people around us who we
are.
To be a Muslim girl who wants to satisfy her lord is such a
easy task with some difficult path but again
it is said NO PAIN NO GAIN.
Our life here is not permanent, it is temporary. And our
everlasting amazing life is yet to arrive. So why not sacrifice something for
your own better in the future.
Sisters let us not forget that
He is our creator
Our king
The lord of the Day of Judgment
And he created us and to him we return
So let us start up the hijabified version of life!!!!
Wait for more…. J
Peace!
