Beauty of Impermanence

To be lost in a journey is beautiful in its own way, most of us enjoy it a lifetime, finding the utterly prime meaning of this world, there is no possession nor is anything permanent. But then somewhere along the worldly journeys, we get back to souls that have been brought together in this world by blood or bond.
Airports are one such stop, wherein the number of emotions, the expression is birthed. Indeed a fine stage for an act of love, grief, of parting and meeting.
Sitting in one such airport, observing souls arriving at their loved ones, I find myself wanting to sit here every day, jotting down one moment of magic. Maybe a mother meeting her son after he migrated, a newlywed couple getting back after a year or two of parting. A father eagerly waiting to see his own little one for the first time.
Pausing smiles, tears of love, of kisses and warm hugs, I do feel I am intruding a little, but then the play goes on. From one scene to another, from one play to another.
This world and its beauty lie in the meaning of temporality. In finding imperfections and also enjoying the moment. It is only when a human seeks for something beyond this, in this world, they're consumed by fear. Possession is the worst, be it your child, your spouse, your friend, even your comb or butter knife, doesn't belong to you. There is nothing of ownership in this world.
And if one does find the essence of life in such matters, airports and such places bring in joy, there is an element of superficial that is so real. Impermanence and its beauty help us enjoy our journeys, while we live the moment.

Light.

Sometimes you fall, because if you need to rise, the pit is the best place to start. Trembling and lost, you find yourself sitting there for a while. But then dear, don't find comfort in the darkness there, for if you look up there is a light that is seeking for you, a familiar ball of light. You look out to find a hopeless heart, beating at a pace, in which you'd conquer the world from east to west. You want to stop thoughts from barging in, but then the gate seem to have broke, for they flood in you.
So what do you do? You sit, find your self calm down. Don't push away the little light, stare at it, try to make a conversation. You'll find hope there, it may take a day, a year, a lifetime, but follow the light.
Let it take you through your journey. Let it teach you to live while you unlearn the world. It'll strip your mask and it's going to be painful. The bruises will leave scars for a lifetime, but then they will help you take a step. And finally, you'll see the light being shared, among your loved ones.
Insecurity will gush in, you will fail at making a lot of smiles. Trust the light, for there was a purpose you follow it.
Where did the light come you ask? Well it was inside you all along, but then your conscience ignored it, and it pushed you hard. So when you do rise, never let go of the light. That's the love you possess that has been granted to you, and as you breath last, your Lord will only ask for the light, for that's His.
